The dictionary describes the word ‘approach’ as: 'a way of dealing with a situation or problem'

A way...

Not THE way

This is such an important distinction to make when it comes to various parenting approaches you will encounter right from the time your child is born. Something as exquisitely unique as raising your child is so complex and forever changing that no one book or ‘expert’ -no matter the approach, and especially no matter the amount of money being charged can claim to have all the answers- though many do...

So where are the answers?

They are within;

you
your child
and your relationship with one another

and they become easier to find the more you invest in finding out about;

Yourself and yourself as a parent
Your child and their needs
your relationship with one another that is totally different and special compared to anyone else’s.

If your focus is prioritised on these three things, THIS is how you will get the greatest benefit from whatever approaches you would like to apply as a way of dealing with a situation or a problem regarding your child.

This is why you’ll never hear me say don’t use that approach...
Or
only follow the approaches I provide you with information about...

Instead you’ll hear me ask (and often!); “how does it make you FEEL” because I know (and I will constantly remind you) that it is that feeling within you where the answers lie.

I'm but one source of information for you- albeit a pretty awesome source 😉😂 But one all the same. One that can help you find some of the answers, but who knows that ultimately it is you who knows them all.
